Instructions:

Cook carrots on stove for 20 min until almost fork tender, drain, place in baking dish.

Spread butter or possibly light butter over them, add pepper and salt. Cover and bake over medium heat for about 1 hour. While doing this, turn the carrots once.

Turn once or twice to the other side and baste with juices.
