A great cake recipe for any occasion:

You need for a Pck. puff pastry ne entire mass of bacon: the bottom of a large frying pan should be filled a good thumb-thick. So fry the diced bacon in clarified butter with enough onions until crispy and cool. Mix in minced parsley and Parmesan cheese (mass as desired, but may be enough).

Roll out the puff pastry sheets to double size and cut in half. Spread the filling evenly on it, brush the edges with beaten egg yolk (to “stick”) and roll up. It is best to fold the resulting edge down. Brush the top well with egg yolk.

Bake these roellekes on parchment paper or prepared tray form and according to package instructions.

Tastes best lukewarm or cooled down (you have to be patient…). Are therefore best as a souvenir for parties and Ae. Suitable (few you can “disappear”, after all, no one knows how many there were before …) Should be marked as “savory” baked goods, so that not lovers of sweets disappointed bite into it …
