Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic clove. Pour boiling hot water over the tomatoes, remove the skin, remove the seeds and cut into cubes. Chop the parsley. Cut the white bread into cubes and toast it in half of the oil until light brown.

Mix the garlic, tomatoes, onions, parsley, marjoram and the bread cubes, season with salt, pepper and a little juice of a lemon.

Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit, sprinkle the cut surfaces with the juice of one lemon. Form the filling in the avocado halves. Mix the breadcrumbs with the remaining oil and sprinkle on top.

Bake under the broiler or in the oven (preheated to 250 degrees or level 5) for about eight minutes. Serve immediately.

Serve with a baguette.
