Instructions:

For the apricot crumble muffins, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a muffin tray with paper cups. Wash and halve the apricots. Cut 12 apricot halves into small pieces.

Leave the other 12 halves whole and set aside. Beat the egg with sugar, vanilla sugar and butter. Add milk and apricot pieces and fold in flour with baking powder and salt.

Pour the batter into the ramekins and top each with 1/2 apricot. For the crumble, knead flour, sugar, almonds and butter into a dough and crumble it over the apricot muffins. Bake the muffins for 20 to 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
