Instructions:

Scald the apricots with boiling water, then peel and pit them.

Boil the peeled apricot halves in a saucepan with the white wine, lemon juice, sugar and the two cardamom pods.

Remove from heat and let steep covered for 2 minutes, then transfer to a bowl and serve lukewarm.
