A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Steam the bananas on the bamboo rack in a wok with the lid closed for 10 min (or grill in the oven at 150 °C for 10 min). Then peel, cut once diagonally and cut into oblong, narrow slices. Roll out the thawed puff pastry into several square sheets about the size of a pancake. Place several pieces of banana on each sheet and sprinkle with a tiny bit of sugar and sesame seeds. Fold the dough inward from both sides and roll up from top to bottom (like spring rolls). Get the wok hot, heat the oil in it until it smokes, reduce the temperature. Remove the bananas in it until golden and drain on kitchen paper. Serve with sugar syrup (bring 1/2 cup water and sugar to boil and gently simmer for about 10 minutes until syrup thickens). (Preparation time about half an hour, cooking time: 15 min).
