From the fennel bulbs, cut the tender leafy greens and chop them finely. Cut fennel bulbs into 1/2 cm thick slices, place in a glass or porcelain container, spread butter, salt and cheese evenly over it, sprinkle fennel greens over it, add water and cook for 6 1/2 to 8 min at 600 watts with the lid closed.
