For the pinwheels, roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares, then for the pinwheels make a cut from each square tip towards the center of the square, the cut length should not be more than half the distance to the center.

Mix the jam with rum until smooth, brush the pastry with beaten egg, put a tablespoon of jam in the center of each, fold the pinwheels, brush again with egg and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes.
