Rinse, peel and rinse the beets, cut them into slices, put them in an earthenware pot or a jar, pour warm boiled water over them, add the chopped bread and chopped garlic.

Cover the jar with linen or gauze, tie it and leave it in a warm place for a few days. Strain on it, pour into bottles and seal them.

Keep in a cold and dark place. Can be used with borscht or other dishes.
