For the millet loaf with beet, first wash the millet thoroughly and boil it until soft with twice the amount of water, to which you add salt or sprinkling seasoning.

In the meantime, peel and grate the beets. When the millet has cooled down a bit, mix all the ingredients together well and let it swell for about 15 minutes.

If the mixture is too soft, add some more semolina. Now season the loaf mixture to taste. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Use a spoon to make small piles and flatten them a bit.

Fry the patties in this way on both sides. Serve with potatoes and herb dip.
