1 (4) tsp. vanilla sugar 2 (8) (8) tsp. vegetable margarine (strawberry, blueberry, elberry, raspberry…)

Cut the apple into small cubes and sprinkle with juice of one lemon. Mix yolks, vanilla sugar and flour, add apple pieces, whip egg whites to stiff peaks and fold in. Then melt light butter by the teaspoonful in a coated frying pan, cut off portions from the apple portion with a tablespoon, place in the fat, flatten with a spoon and bake on both sides over a mild heat until light brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jam sauce. For the jam sauce, boil jam with water, cool a little and then stir with sour cream.
