For sausage salad in the roll first cut small cubes from the sausages and aspic. Cucumbers, shallots also cut into small pieces, parsley and chives chop very small.

Mix the vinegar with pepper, salt and sugar, add the oil and stir again, pour over the above ingredients and mix. Leave to stand in the refrigerator, well covered, for about 1 hour.

Just before serving, cut the rolls in half and remove the inside and top with the salad. Serve sausage salad in the roll immediately, otherwise the pastry will soften.
