Chicken “African” From the Slow Cooker

Instructions:

Cut the onion into rings and finely chop the garlic. Peel the carrots and melanzani, cut the carrots into slices and the melanzani into pieces. Wash and dice the zucchini and rinse, pat dry and dice the meat as well.

Layer the vegetables in order in the insert of the slow cooker, then add the meat on top. Combine the remaining ingredients from raisins to salt and pepper (crumble chicken soup cubes) in a bowl, season to taste and spread over the meat.

Simmer on HIGH for 5 hours with the lid on. About halfway through, add the rinsed chickpeas, stir everything vigorously and finish simmering with the lid closed.

Finally, taste again, season and serve hot.
