Clean the chicken liver and remove coarse skin parts. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Rinse the peppers and cut them in half, then remove the seeds and white partitions. Cut the parts into coarse pieces.

Heat the oil in the roasting pan and fry the onions and garlic in it. Now add the bell pepper pieces, season with salt and steam everything together covered with a lid at medium temperature for about 7 minutes.

Add the chicken liver, soy sauce and sugar and cook the liver for 5-10 minutes without a lid. Season well with salt and freshly ground pepper before serving.
