Instructions:

First, peel the oranges and grapefruit with a sharp knife so that there is no white skin left on the fruit.

Peel the clementines (rudolines, mandarins) as well and free them from the white fibers. Then slice all the peeled fruit into 1 cm slices (thicker rather than thin) and set aside.

Wash the limes hot, dry them and finely grate the peel, squeeze out 2 tablespoons of juice. Mix the lime zest, juice and orange syrup.

Thoroughly butter a baking sheet with 25 g butter and sprinkle thinly with semolina (30 g). Beat the remaining butter with 125 g sugar and a pinch of salt with a hand mixer for about 10 minutes until fluffy.

Gradually add the eggs and stir in the curd cheese and orange syrup mixture. Mix the remaining semolina with baking powder and fold in carefully.

Preheat the oven to 175 °. Spread the dough mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and spread the citrus slices over it in a nice colorful way.

Mix the dried orange peel with the remaining sugar (50 g) and sprinkle over the fruit. Put the tray in the lower third of the oven and bake for about 45 minutes.

Remove and let cool, then cut into pieces, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve the cake.
