For the fruit-vegetable-oil cake, whisk the water, half of the sugar, the kernel oil and 5 yolks until frothy.

Add the arancini, apple, carrot, chocolate and nuts or almonds one by one. Beat the 5 egg whites until stiff, adding the remaining sugar.

Pour the snow over the mixture, mix flour and baking powder. Sift over the snow and fold in carefully.

Grease and dust a baking dish and pour in the mixture. Bake the fruit-vegetable-oil cake at 180 degrees in a preheated oven for about 55 minutes. If necessary, test with chopsticks.
