Cut 5 dry ribs into thin slices and pre-soak in 3/8 liter of warm milk. Chop 1 gr. onion and sauté in light butter until soft. Mix parsley, 400 g ground liver, 100 g mixed minced meat, 4 eggs, 1.5 tsp. pepper, marjoram, salt and a bit of cardamom with the ribs and the onion, possibly add more breadcrumbs. Season and let stand for about 2 hours. Cut out dumplings with a spoon and cook them in boiling salted water.
