For the Bat Pumpkin Pie, knead a shortcrust pastry from the first four ingredients and line a pie dish with it. The dough should be about 1/2 cm thick and the edge about 3-4 cm high. Poke the dough.

Cut out some figures, e.g. bats and moon, from the leftover dough and chill. Chill the mold with the dough.

Cook mush from a small Hokkaido pumpkin, which should be quite dry. When you run a wooden spoon through it, a line should remain visible. Take away about 400 g of this.

Add the pumpkin spice. Stir in the condensed milk and egg yolks. When the filling is ready, pour it into the pastry-lined pan.

Bake the cake for about 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 degrees hot until the filling is set. Bake the decoration for about 10 to 12 minutes extra. When the filling is firm, place the decoration on top.
