For the macaroni casserole, cook the macaroni according to the package “al dente “, if possible do not break, rinse in a colander.

Pour half of the macaroni into a greased casserole dish and spread the herring fillets on top together with the bacon cubes. Add the remaining macaroni on top.

Whisk eggs with milk, salt, paprika and dill, pour over macaroni, sprinkle with bread crumbs and top with butter flakes.

Then put the whole thing into the preheated oven and bake at 200 °C for about 45 minutes.
