For the cabbage sprout soup, first peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into small pieces. In the case of the bell bell pepper, remove the insides and also cut into pieces.

Put them together with the cabbage sprouts in a pot of boiling water: There should be just enough water in it to cover everything completely. Season with salt, pepper, ground ginger and various herbs.

Simmer until the sweet potatoes are soft. Meanwhile, cut the dates into small pieces. Once all the vegetables are soft enough, pick up the blender and puree.

Season the thick soup with herbs and cinnamon. Finally, divide it among the plates and use the dates as a garnish for the soup. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for decoration.
