Instructions:

For the rum slices, first prepare the dough.

For the dough, cream the butter, gradually add the egg yolks and beat together with the sugar until well fluffy. Fold in the nuts and chocolate.

Sift the baking powder and flour together and stir in, adding the 2 tablespoons rum until smooth.

Beat the egg whites until firm and gently stir into the batter.

Spread the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes. Allow the cake to cool well.

Prepare the glaze as follows: Heat the rum and stir in the powdered sugar until it has completely dissolved. Let the glaze cool slightly and then spread it on the rum slices.
