Drain the beans and roughly mash them with a potato masher.

Bring the strained tomatoes and the soup vegetables to the boil in a large saucepan. Add the mashed beans and season with pepper and vegetable soup. Add corn flakes or bread crumbs and form a firm dough. Stir in the chopped parsley and knead everything together repeatedly. Shape the dough into oval patties, not too large. Place them on a greased tray and bake for 15 to 20 min in the oven heated to 220 degrees.

Serving: Serve with a crisp mixed leaf salad.
