Peasant vegetable soup

Preparation: Cut all ingredients into small cubes or strips. Add beetroot, cabbage, potatoes, carrot, parsley root and onion to the boiling soup and cook for 20-25 minutes. 5 min before the end of cooking add the cut tomatoes to the soup. On the plate arrange the soup with the smetana and finely chopped vegetables. If the soup is cooked with water, stir in a little butter before serving.
