For hearty breakfast gröstl, first mix the chickpea flour with the kala namak in a mixing bowl. Add 400 ml cold water and the oat whipping cream substitute, the baking powder and the apple cider vinegar, season with salt and pepper and mix everything with the whisks of the hand mixer until smooth.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet. Add the chickpea mixture and cook over medium heat with the lid closed on the bottom of the pan (it is best to use a coated pan) for about 5 minutes.

Turn the mixture and let it cook for another 5 minutes, covered.

Divide the mixture into pieces with a spatula. Turn the pieces and brown them slightly if desired. Season the Gröstl with salt and pepper. Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into small rolls. Sprinkle over the hearty breakfast gröstl.
