Soak enough 1 kilo of white bread in milk, squeeze it well and bake it in 125g of butter. When it has cooled down, add 10 egg yolks, 200-240g of sugar, grated and finely chopped lemon peel and cinnamon, followed by the egg foam.

Put a layer of this dough in the form, then add a layer of fruit: apple slices, stoned cherries or the like, and then layer after layer, finally the dough. – The pudding must make 2 hours and is eaten with sugar without sauce.
