For the plum dumplings, make a dough with curd cheese, egg, flour, butter and salt and let rest for 1 hour. Form into a roll and divide into equal-sized slices.

Fill plums with 1 tsp sugar each and cover with dough, roll in flour. Bring salted water to a boil and boil the dumplings gently for about 10 minutes. When they float to the top they are ready.

Lift out of the water and roll in toasted breadcrumbs. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Heat butter, add crumbs and roast until golden brown, add cinnamon and sugar.
