A great cake recipe for any occasion:
500 gr. (1 half kilo) of freshly washed butter is stirred with 10 egg yolks until foamy and 500 gr. of fine sifted sugar, a tiny bit of grated lemon peel, 8 gr. Staghorn salt and 500 grams (half a kilo) of fine flour. The mixture is stirred for an hour, then the foam of the eggs is added and the dough is put into the mold.
