A simple but delicious cake recipe:

The mixture is calculated for a rosette pan or possibly a cake springform pan of 26 cm ø.

Beat butter or possibly light butter until soft, add eggs, salt, sugar, lemon zest, stir until the mixture is light. Pour in the milk. Combine cornmeal, flour and baking powder well, add, stir briefly until smooth. Mix the elderflowers into the batter, fill into the greased pan.

Bake: about 50 min. on the lowest rack of the oven heated to 180 °C.

Baked as a flat cake, the result is best. The cake tastes exceptionally good when cooled glazed or possibly halved and filled with whipped cream.
