For the chicken in batter, mix all ingredients for the batter well. Slice the chicken breast horizontally like a bread roll and pound the two parts very thin. Heat a pot with oil.

Use a wooden stick or wooden spoon to check if the oil is hot enough – if bubbles form, you can pull the chicken fillets through the batter and immediately slide them slowly into the oil.

Bake for 5 minutes on both sides until golden brown, making sure that the oil does not get too hot. Drain the fat on a sheet of kitchen roll and cut the chicken in the batter into strips.
