For the spelt flour roast spelt and wheat flour without fat, i.e. roast in a pan at moderate heat until the moisture has completely escaped from the flour. (Do not roast too hot, so that the flour does not become too dark).

Bring about 400 ml of salted water to a boil and gradually add it to make a dumpling. Melt butter, pour over it and tear the flour dumpling into small pieces with two forks. Cover and let the Brennsterz stand for about 10 minutes.
