Instructions:

For the marzipan puff pastry, mix well marzipan with apricot jam and rum.

Spread this mixture on the dough, roll up from both long sides and cut slices 2.5 cm wide, turn over 1 roll of each of the slices.

Place on a baking sheet and let rise, covered.

Bake at 220° for about 15-20 minutes until light brown.

While still warm, spread the marzipan puff pastry with hot apricot jam and sprinkle with almonds.
