For the Bozner Zelten chop all the fruits for the mass, mix with the spices, aromatics, rum, vermouth and brandy and leave to infuse overnight. The next morning prepare a dampfl (pre-dough) with yeast, a little milk, sugar, a little wheat flour and salt. Then add the rye flour and knead well with the fruit mixture.

Grease baking trays well and form finger-thick oval, star, circle or heart-shaped tents from the dough as desired. Place the tents on the baking tray, decorate with almonds, candied fruit, pine nuts and nuts as you like and leave to rise for 10 to 15 minutes. Place the trays in the oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 1/2 hour until the almonds turn a pink color.

Remove tents from the oven, brush with cold honey water until they shine nicely. Then let cool and dry overnight. Wrap Bozner Zelten individually in plastic wrap and store in it until ready to eat.
