For the cabbage dumplings, finely chop or slice the cabbage and onion. Heat the oil, add the onion and sauté until golden.
Add cabbage and saute, stirring frequently, until it turns a golden brown color. Season with salt and pepper.
Make a viscous paste with flour, water, salt and oil and beat until it blisters. Then easily pluck off the part and add it to the boiling water and cook until the dumplings rise to the surface.
Strain, rinse and drain. Mix with the steamed cabbage and serve the cabbage dumplings.
