Instructions:

Prepare: Set aside half of the strawberries and 50g of green ginger (or 25g of fresh). Pour the rest with the water, infuse with the lid closed in about 20 min. Pour through a fine sieve, set aside to cool with the lid closed. Set the punch bowl aside to cool as well.

Prepare: Just before serving, add lemon syrup and nutmeg to the punch bowl with the strawberry-ginger liquid. Top with ginger ale. Add strawberry and ginger slices set aside.

Serve: Place punch bowl in a bowl filled with ice cubes; garnish.

Note: Green ginger is available at Asian specialty stores.

Pair with: Aperitif pastry made from puff pastry.
