For the cabbage soup with debreziners, boil the sauerkraut in 1 1/2 liters of water until soft. Cut the smoked bacon into small cubes, roast it, add it to the soup together with the sliced debreziners and potato cubes, season with salt and simmer gently.

Prepare a roux with fat and flour, add finely chopped onion and paprika, fill up with a little cold water and stir into the soup.

Simmer on low heat for another 10 minutes. Just before serving, stir the sour cream into the soup and serve the cabbage soup with debreziners.
