For the Dirndl jam with vanilla, it is best to remove the seeds from the Dirndls while wearing gloves.

Heat the dirndls with sugar, jam sugar and vanilla sugar in a large pot. Grind with a hand blender.

Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes until bubbly. Pour into clean jars and seal immediately.

Dirndl jam with vanilla is excellent with pancakes and as a filling for chocolate cakes.
