Instructions:

First separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Beat the yolks, powdered sugar, margarine, vanilla sugar and rum until foamy.

Sift flour with baking powder and stir into the mixture with milk. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites.

Spread 1/2 of the dough on a greased baking tray (37 x 25 cm). Moisten the baking sheets and place them on the dough. Spread remaining batter on top and place quartered apricots on top.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 – 30 minutes. When cooled, cut into pieces and sprinkle with sugar.
