For the tagliatelle a la carbonara, cook the tagliatelle until al dente, strain. For the sauce, sauté the diced onion in a pan with oil. Cut the ham into fine strips and sauté with the onion.

Pour in whipping cream, bring to the boil briefly. Mix the tagliatelle with the sauce and season to taste with salt, pepper and chopped parsley.
